Lancaster serial church burglar sentenced to 18 years in prison
A Lancaster man was sentenced to 18 years in prison late last week after admitting to breaking into six churches in 2013, then pawning some of the stolen items, according to prosecutors.
Joseph Paul Geddings, 31, pleaded guilty to burglary and other charges after he was caught when trying to sell the items, said Randy Newman, 6th Circuit Solicitor.
Geddings admitted to the serial thefts after police captured him.
