A 22-year-old man is accused of driving drunk with a child in the car, a Rock Hill police report states.

At 8:45 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a car crash in the 700 block of Albright Road in Rock Hill. Two cars were blocking one lane of traffic, the report states.

Police saw a black sedan without any occupants and a white van with one man inside, who was bleeding, the report says. Emergency Medical Services and the Rock Hill Fire Department responded.

Police saw Coryelle Reshard Amos walking away from the scene. He was off balance and swaying and smelled of alcoholic beverages, the report says. Amos’ speech was slurred and he was drooling, the report states.

A witness told police he had seen a young girl leave Amos’ car, “screaming that her chest was burning,” the report states. Emergency Medical Services treated the girl, who is Amos’ daughter, the report said.

The girl had a bruise and a burn from the seatbelt, the report states. Her age was not listed on the report.

Amos was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, the report says. Amos and his daughter were transported to the hospital.

At the hospital, the girl told police she was sitting in the front seat of the car and was not in a booster seat, the report says.

Amos’ brother told police Amos had been drinking all day, the report states.

Amos was also charged with child endangerment, the report says.
