Man took nude photos, sexually exploited girl, 15, at Rock Hill motel, police say
Police in Rock Hill have arrested a Charlotte man who is accused of having sexual encounters with a 15-year-old girl at a Rock Hill motel over several months.
The encounters included sex acts and nude photos of the girl, police said.
Christopher Clyburn, 34, is in the York County jail without bond on charges of sexual exploitation and second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, jail and police records show.
The incidents at a Riverview Road motel go back to October of 2016, said Capt. Mark Bollinger, spokesman for the Rock Hill Police Department.
A complaint was reported to police in April.
Detectives charged Clyburn Monday after an investigation of several weeks, Bollinger said.
Arrest warrants for Clyburn that were obtained by The Herald show allegations of “sexual battery on multiple occasions and dates.”
Police recovered naked and partially naked pictures of the victim, as well as other sexually explicit photos, arrest warrants state.
