Report: Gunman robs Drunken Goat bar in Fort Mill
The Drunken Goat Bar and Grill in Fort Mill was robbed at gun point early Monday morning, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
An employee with the sports bar at 337 Rubin Center Drive was counting money at about 3:10 a.m. when she heard a lock open, believing it to be a cleaning person, according to the report.
Instead the employee saw a gun pointed at her and was told, “leave the money and go to the bathroom.”
The reports states the suspect, who had “something orange” covering his face, stole $578.
The incident is being investigated.
When contacted by The Herald, a manager at the business disputed the police report, saying the event “didn’t happen.”
