Mom in Rock Hill charged with child endangerment, DUI with kids in car
Police in Rock Hill charged a woman with child endangerment and DUI after a caller from a Taco Bell reported that the woman was falling asleep there before she drove away, police said.
Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Taco Bell restaurant on John Ross Parkway in Rock Hill.
The caller told police a woman who had been falling asleep inside was leaving with two children inside her vehicle, a police report shows.
Police found Lauren Conwell driving the vehicle with the two children inside.
Conwell denied having been drinking, but said that she had taken anti-anxiety medication, the incident report shows.
Conwell was charged with child endangerment because the children were in the car.
