Rock Hill police arrest CVS armed robbery suspect
Rock Hill police have arrested John E. Hunsucker, 37, in connection with the March 11 robbery of the CVS store on Cherry Road.
Hunsucker, who listed his address as 8 Lynwood Drive, was arrested Thursday on armed robbery and unlawful possessions of a pistol during a violent crime, according to Rock Hill police records.
A report on the robbery states that a suspect entered the CVS at 609 Cherry Road about 11:30 p.m. on March 11 and purchased candy worth $2. He then pulled a handgun from his waistband, telling the cashier to empty the register drawer. The suspect left on foot with about $250, according to the report.
