String of car break-ins reported in Rock Hill
Rock Hill police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins on Franklin and Downey streets off Celanese Road.
The breaks-ins are believed to have happened Wednesday or Thursday, according to police reports.
Owners reported that their vehicles were unlocked, according to the report.
The victims reported that the interior of their vehicles had been rummaged through. Items taken include two GPS devices and an Amazon Kindle Fire.
Earlier this week, the York County Sheriff’s Office reported 11 car break-ins along Ashland Oaks Drive south of Rock Hill. There was no forced entry on all 11 cars, so it appears all were left unlocked.
