Surveillance released in Fort Mill smash-and-grab break-in
The York County Sheriff’s Office on Friday released surveillance from a smash-and-grab burglary at a Fort Mill gas station.
Investigators are hoping to identify two people who used landscaping rocks to break the glass door at the Times Turnaround on Hwy. 21 in Fort Mill. The thieves stole the cash registers and caused $600 damage to the door.
It’s unclear how much money was stolen, but an assistant manager told sheriff’s deputies it would cost an estimated $15,000 to replace the registers.
Officials are investigating a possible connection to similar burglaries in Rock Hill.
