Chester police arrest second suspect in April armed robbery

Chester police arrested a second suspect in connection with an April 10 armed robbery on Ashford Street.

Police arrested Geraldo Dametrius Land of 530 Rose St. on Wednesday. Another man, John Willie Wilmore III of 512 Lincolnville Road, was brought in Tuesday.

Wilmore was apprehended by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office after the Chester Police Department identified the two suspects.

Chester police say Land and Wilmore are accused of entering a home where three men were playing cards, and pointing a gun at them and robbing them.

Both are charged with three counts of assault and battery, three counts of armed robbery, one count of burglary and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
