3 car break-ins reported at Piedmont Medical Center
Brazen thieves smashed windows on three vehicles in parking lots at Rock Hill’s Piedmont Medical Center early Saturday, stealing credit and debit cards, cash, and a GPS, according to a police report.
The first victim told police hospital security told her that her front passenger window was broken after she arrived at work at the hospital Friday evening and found that the GPS unit inside the glove compartment was gone.
Minutes later, officers found another car with the rear passenger window broken and a purse, cards and other items stolen, and a landscaping rock on the seat inside the car.
Officers noted in a third report taken just minutes afterward that another car window was smashed and cards, cash, and a purse were taken.
