Woman accused of impersonating officer at Chester Police Dept.
Police arrested a woman accused of impersonating an officer in the lobby of the Chester Police Department.
The woman showed up Monday to the Law Enforcement Center at 2740 Dawson Drive, Chester. She claimed to work for another law enforcement agency and was wearing “law enforcement paraphernalia,” according to a release from Chester Police.
A search warrant was issued for a White Oak Street residence, where they found several bags of evidence, including a police badge and the receipt for a weapon.
Tia Alicia Taylor, 32, is charged with two counts of impersonating a law enforcement officer, the release states.
