Climbing gear among items taken from Rock Hill’s Camp Canaan

Someone broke into the well house of Camp Canaan and stole a variety of items, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

Taken from the well house between Sunday and Monday were climbing gear, power tools and two-way radios. The value of the items was not included in the report.

Camp Canaan is located on an island in the Catawba River and holds a variety of summer camps, corporate events and other day activities.
