Bicycle thefts reported off Lesslie Highway in south Rock Hill

The York County Sheriff’s office investigated two bicycle thefts off Lesslie Highway on Monday.

A girl’s bike, worth about $80, was taken from 131 Hepp Lane and a boy’s bike, worth about $100, was taken from 164 Hepp Lane, according to a sheriff’s office report. The thefts happened after children in the neighborhood went to school, between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to the report.

Hepp Lane is near where Lesslie Highway intersects with SC 5, just east of Interstate 77.
