Traffic stop leads to Rock Hill drug arrest
A man who ran a stop sign was reportedly carrying almost 60 grams of marijuana in his car.
Torrence Jamar Glasper, 25, of Rock Hill, faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in connection to the incident.
Glasper ran a stop sign on the 600 block of Marrett Boulevard around 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Rock Hill police report. An officer pulled over Glasper’s Ford Focus and quickly noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The driver reportedly gave police permission to search the vehicle, where they uncovered two sandwich bags filled with marijuana underneath the front passenger seat. One bag contained 29.53 grams of marijuana, and the other held 28.88 grams. Officers also reportedly found a box of sandwich bags shoved in the rear pocket of the passenger seat.
Glasper was taken to the Rock Hill Law Center for processing.
