Police: Evicted guests left behind BB gun in Rock Hill hotel room

A Rock Hill hotel manager called police on Thursday afternoon after cleaning staff found a BB gun in a room where guests had just been evicted from.

The manager told officers she was alarmed after learning that 170 phone calls from made to and from the hotel room over a 24-hour period, according to a Rock Hill police report. Officers briefly investigated and confiscated the BB gun from the Econolodge on Riverview Road.

No arrests were made, the report states.
