Man held Rock Hill delivery woman down, stole pizzas from her car, police say

A woman delivering pizza on Patriot Parkway Monday night told police a man held her down and stole two pizzas, two side orders and a 2-liter bottle of Fanta from her car, according to a Rock Hill Police Department report.

Police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery at 11:22 p.m. Monday. The victim said she tried to deliver the order to the address given, the report says.

She told police the person in the apartment told her she had the wrong address, so she went back to her car. She said she put the pizzas and the side orders in the passenger seat while she tried to call the customer, the report says.

The woman said a man “came up behind her and pushed her into the car and told her to give him the pizza,” the report says.

The suspect “held her down in the seat” and grabbed the pizza, the report says. The victim said the man got into a car parked nearby, and the people in the car turned off the lights and backed away toward Eden Terrace, the report says.

The victim said the man was about 6 feet 1 inches tall and was in his mid-20s, the report says.
