Rock Hill man thought he heard fireworks; next day, he found bullet holes
A Rock Hill homeowner found bullet holes in the front of his house Saturday, after hearing what he thought were fireworks the night before, according to a Rock Hill Police Department report.
The report says the man, who lives on Pitts Street in Rock Hill, told officers that he heard a noise on the street at about 10 p.m. Friday.
He thought the noise was fireworks, but found bullet holes in his house Saturday and called police, the report says.
Officers said they found three bullet holes on the front of the house and two exit holes inside the home, the report says.
The victim told officers he saw a red Jeep Liberty drive slowly past his house around the time he heard the noises Friday night, the report says.
Officers didn’t find any shell casings or bullet fragments, the report says.
