Police: Man arrested after holding woman at gunpoint in Chester home
A man has been charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature after holding a gun to a woman’s head at a home on West Lacy Street in Chester.
Camron Ragland, 20, held the gun to the woman’s head Tuesday before she could break free and take the ammunition clip away, according to a press release from the Chester Police Department.
When officers arrived at the home, Ragland had barricaded himself in the house.
Chester Police Chief Andre’ Williams spoke on the phone with Ragland and texted with him. Williams eventually went into the house without pulling out his weapon and “was able to apprehend (Ragland) without incident.”
Ragland is now in custody, awaiting a bond hearing.
