courtesy of York County Sheriff’s Office

The York County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday released surveillance video in hopes of finding two people who stole $15,000 in iPhones from the Walmart in Lake Wylie.

On March 25, two men entered the Walmart around 11 p.m. and stayed in the store for nearly an hour. While one suspect distracted the clerk, the other was able to get into the electronics case. The thieves took seven iPhone 6's with a retail value of $699 each and 13 iPhone 6 plus phones valued at $799 a piece.

The thieves left in a burgundy four door sedan that appears to be a Dodge Stratus.
