A Rock Hill student called the other ‘fat’; then a fight broke out
Two Northwestern High School students were charged with fighting Sept. 6 after one girl called the other fat.
According to a Rock Hill police report, a student reported that another girl was “calling her fat.” The student then said she went to the girl to ask her about it.
When the two met, the report states that things became heated and the two began fighting.
A Rock Hill police officer viewed video of the incident. The officer reported that at one point, a student unzipped her jacket and “takes on a fighting stance” before a punch was thrown.
The two students were charged with disorderly conduct fighting on a juvenile summons and released to their parents, according to the report.
The two juveniles were aged 14 and 15.
