Three members of Rock Hill family arrested on gun, drug charges

Three members of the same Rock Hill family were arrested Wednesday after police were called out twice for “altercations” at a home on Piedmont Street.

The first incident occurred around 8 p.m. when two brothers, Tywan Jamison, 27, and Jimmy Williamson, 24 were arguing about missing money, according to a Rock Hill police report. Williamson pointed a gun at Jamison and threatened to shoot him. Williamson then left.

A short while later, officers were called back out when Williamson returned to the home and Jamison pointed the gun at him and threatened him. Jamison then went in the house and a single shot was heard, Williamson told officers.

Both Williamson and Jamison were charged with pointing and presenting a firearm. It was later determined Williams was prohibited from owning a firearm because of an assault and battery with intent to kill conviction in 2010. He was also charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence.

While they were at the house the second time, a family member took out a diaper wipe box and showed officers digital scales, packaging materials and two baggies of marijuana. Williamson was also charged with possession of marijuana.
