Argument over $10 ends in York woman’s arrest
An argument over $10 led to one York woman in handcuffs, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
A 20-year-old York woman said Maria Spagnoli, 23, also of York, owed her money, and she had attempted to recoup it for two days, the report says..
While she and the witness listed in the report were eating dinner, Spagnoli started throwing rocks at the house causing holes in the vinyl siding, the report says. Spagnoli attempted to enter the house, and the women argued until Spagnoli grabbed the woman’s hair “pulling out a hand full,” the report says.
Spagnoli said she owed the other woman $10 and had been receiving texts to pay back the money. Spagnoli admitted she went to the house and was told to leave, “but she did not.”
Spagnoli was charged with malicious damage to real property less than $2,000 and assault and battery 3rd degree, the report says.
