Rock Hill man says he was struck with frying pan

Rock Hill police investigated an assault Thursday morning where the victim claimed he was struck with a frying pan.

The male victim said he was attacked while at residence in the 1700 block of Madison Street. The victim said he was struck in the ribs, according to a police report. Police did not observe any signs of an injury, according to the report.

Officers tried to contact the alleged assailant but could not get anyone to come to the door of the Madison street residence, according to the report.

An arrest was not made.
