Fort Mill youth, 17, charged in sexual assault after deputies see cell phone video
A 17-year-old was arrested Thursday in connection with a sexual assault after detectives saw a cell phone video of the assault, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives spoke with the victim on Sept. 4. They recovered a cell phone with a video of the sexual assault, which took place on Aug. 6, the sheriff’s office report says.
Casey Jaxon Vonroden of Fort Mill has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Vonroden was released Friday morning on $15,000 bond.
