‘Vulgar’ thieves steal $2K in items from Rock Hill lingerie, beauty store, police say
Two people stole more than $2,000 in goods from Rock Hill’s Victoria’s Secret store Sunday, and they used bad language toward employees who tried to help them, according to police.
In the incident just before 6 p.m. Sunday, a man and a woman entered the store. They started filling two bags from another department store with merchandise, a Rock Hill Police Department report shows.
Store employees asked the two people stuffing the bags with merchandise if they needed assistance but were told “in vulgar terms to leave them alone,” police said.
Employees were unable to stop the two suspects and called police. The store estimated that more than $2,000 worth of merchandise was stolen.
No arrests have yet been made.
