Charlotte teens arrested after fleeing Chester Co. deputies in stolen car

Two teens led Chester County deputies on a car chase Tuesday in a stolen vehicle, said Maj. Randy Marsh of the sheriff’s office.

The teens, Edward Dickey, 17, and a 14-year old, both from Charlotte, were arrested after deputies spotted the stolen car Tuesday and chased the car for about 8 to 10 miles on S.C. Highway 9, Marsh said.

The teens crashed the car and were taken into custody, Marsh said. Neither sustained serious injuries.

The car was stolen from the Dollar Tree in Chester, Marsh said.

Deputies said the pair stole another car Monday in Charlotte, according to The Herald’s news partner WSOC-TV.
