Police: Clover man stopped twice in one day for driving without license
A Clover man was charged by York police with driving without a license after being pulled over twice within a few hours, according to a police report.
The driver, Timothy Meeks, 22, was stopped by a York Police Department officer Wednesday for an alleged traffic violation, the report states. Police then discovered that his license had been suspended.
A few hours later, another officer on patrol saw saw the same vehicle and “it appeared to be the same driver from a few hours ago,” police said.
As soon as the officer approached the vehicle, Meeks told the patrolman he didn’t have a driver’s license and the officer booked Meeks on a charge of driving without a license, the report states. Meeks posted bond and was released, police said.
