Police: Crack found in Rock Hill woman’s wig
A traffic stop led to a drug bust after Rock Hill police found crack underneath a woman’s wig.
An officer patrolling Hampton Street Wednesday afternoon noticed a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria turn without using a signal, according to a police report.
The driver appeared “very nervous” and admitted she had a small amount of crack under her wig, the report states.
Mildred Thomas, 57, of Rock Hill was arrested and charged with possession of crack, second offense. She also has a cocaine conviction from 2012, which enhances the current charge, according to the report.
The crack was placed into evidence.
Thomas was also issued a written warning for improper turn.
Her bond was set at $8,500.
