Rock Hill man accused of forcing wife to have sex after argument
A 43-year-old Rock Hill man has been charged with spousal sexual battery after his wife reported to police that he forced her to have sex with him after a fight about her cheating on him, according to law enforcement officials.
Officers arrested the man Friday morning after investigating the incident for several days, according to the Rock Hill Police records. To protect the wife’s identity, the Herald is not publishing the name of the suspect, who also faces voyeurism or peeping Tom charges because the incident was recorded on a cellphone, records show.
The man’s wife told police the incident happened on Sunday afternoon at their home on Flint Street. The man told officers that they had had consensual sex that day, according to the incident report.
Police records show that the man was charged with grand larceny. Rock Hill police spokesman Mark Bollinger said the grand larceny charge was related to a separate incident at the house.
