Deputies, police hunt for armed robbery suspect in Clover

York County deputies and Clover police officers are looking for one suspect believed to have robbed a cash advance store on Bethel Street Monday afternoon, officials say.

Clover Police Chief Randy Grice said the armed robbery happened at 745 Bethel St. No one was injured. Grice couldn’t immediately say what type of weapon may have been involved.

The suspect, a man, took an unknown amount of cash from the store and fled on foot, Grice said. The York County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the search.

A full description of the suspect was not available by Monday evening.
