Police: Rock Hill teen crashes trying to flee man with a gun

A Rock Hill teenager was in a crash Monday as he attempted to flee from another man with a gun, according to a police report.

The 17-year-old driver said he noticed someone following him in the Hunter’s Chase neighborhood. While trying to get away, the teen tried to push through traffic and struck another vehicle.

The victim told police the person following him pointed a small caliber handgun at him.

The victim and the alleged gunman have a “history of arguing and fighting from Rock Hill High School,” the report states.

Rock Hill police are investigating.
