Woman charged with slashing tires in Rock Hill club’s parking lot
A Gaffney woman was arrested early Thursday morning after Rock Hill police accused her of slashing the tires of cars in the parking lot of the night club where she used to work.
Tammy Belinda Smith, 36, was arrested on charges of damage to personal property, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
Police were called to the Crazy Horse Gentleman’s Club on South Cherry Road at 12:30 a.m., when two women told them Smith slashed the tires on both of their cars with a knife. They and a third witness told officers Smith was “extremely intoxicated” and “angry with her co-workers after she was fired,” according to the police report.
Smith reportedly fled the scene on foot and then got a ride from a friend. Police stopped the vehicle at the intersection of West Main and Allen streets. The officer’s report confirms “Smith was extremely intoxicated.”
Smith “repeatedly denied having a knife,” until a search located a pocket knife in her boot.
