Grinch in Rock Hill? Woman reports Christmas lights cut in outdoor display

A woman in Rock Hill reported to police that a real-life Grinch cut her Christmas lights.

The woman, who lives on Shenandoah Circle, told responding officers Saturday that her Christmas tree set up outdoors had six sets of lights cut and left on the ground, a Rock Hill Police Department incident report shows.

Officers reviewed security camera footage, but could not see on the video who cut the lights.

Each of the strands cost the woman $5.95, meaning she was out more than $35 in the vandalism, police reported.
