A York man was arrested after police say he exposed himself to a woman walking on a bike trail at the York Recreation Complex.

Joquavis Stewart, 27, was arrested and has been charged with indecent exposure, York police said.

The victim told police she was walking down the bike trail just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and she saw a man, later identified as Stewart, according to a York police report.

The victim said she passed Stewart. When she turned around to head back the same direction, she noticed he was stopped on the trail, the report says.

She said she asked the man was OK, and he exposed himself and made an obscene remark, the report says.

The victim identified Stewart after officers found him at the intersection of Madison and Raille streets, the report says.

Stewart was also in possession of half a gram of marijuana and was issued a ticket for possession of marijuana.

Stewart is being held at the York Dentention Center on a $3,000 bond, jail records show.
