Two Rock Hill residents were arrested Wednesday and accused of stealing $3,400 in guns and ammo from a neighbor’s house, police say.

Daveion Brice and Madeline Kelly have both been charged with first-degree burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The victim called police Jan. 15 after he found his back door open and three guns were missing, the report says.

His dog had been locked in a bathroom, he told police.

The victim, who lives on Tate Road in Rock Hill, told police a Glock 40, AR Rifle 7.62 MM and Armalite AR 10 had been taken. The three guns were worth about $2,900, the report says.

The victim said 20 boxes of ammo, worth about $500, had also been taken, the report says.

Brice, who police say lives next door to the victim, was arrested at his Tate Road home Wednesday.
