Police responding to a crash Sunday morning in Rock Hill found a Chevrolet Camaro upside down in the middle of the road.

Rock Hill Police were dispatched to the wreck on East Robertson Road just before 2 a.m. The Camaro had crashed into a parked Lexus before flipping, according to an incident report.

Officers noted the driver of the Camaro had glassy, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. Police asked the driver if he had been drinking, and he said he had “a few beers.”

James Allen, 47, of Rock Hill failed several sobriety tests and is charged with driving under the influence, driving under suspension and careless driving, the report states.
