What guests left in Rock Hill motel room leads to heroin trafficking arrest
Drug paraphernalia left in a Rock Hill motel room after guests checked out led to a man being charged with felony heroin trafficking.
Kenneth Michael Cooper, 29, of Edgemoor, is jailed under a $35,000 bond after police found more than seven grams of heroin, police and jail records show.
Rock Hill Police Department officers were called to a Cherry Road motel Saturday afternoon after the drug parpahernalia was “left by occupants who already checked out,” a police report states.
Officers conducted a traffic stop afterward and found the heroin in a backpack.
