Meth found left behind in Rock Hill tanning salon
Authorities say someone left crystal methamphetamine in a plastic bag inside a Rock Hill tanning bed salon over the weekend.
Employees called Rock Hill Police on Sunday afternoon after finding the drug while cleaning the tanning beds at Ultra Tan on Cherry Road, according to police department records. While investigating, officers tracked down a 35-year-old Rock Hill woman who employees said was the last customer to use the room.
Police searched the woman and her car but found no evidence of the crystal meth belonging to her, according to an incident report. The woman also told officers that the drugs did not belong to her. They did not have any evidence to arrest the woman.
Rock Hill detectives say the case is active and police are investigating.
