A man stole hundreds of pills from the Walgreens on Oakland Avenue late Wednesday, according to a Rock Hill police report.

An employee told police a man walked to the Walgreens pharmacy counter just before 10 p.m. and gave her a note saying he had a gun and needed drugs, the report says.

The note asked for oxycodone, suboxone and Opana, the report says.

The employee gave the man a bottle of Oxycodone with 100 pills and two boxes of Suboxone with 100 pills each, the report says.

The man was “holding his hand under his sweatshirt as if he had a gun,” the report says.

The employee said she pretended to look for more pills and told him they didn’t have anything else, the report says.

The employee said the man had light brown hair and was wearing a beanie, a red hoodie and jeans, the report says.

A K-9 unit was called to search for the suspect, but no arrests have been made.

The surveillance video has not released.
