Rock Hill police also reported smash and grab thefts on Wednesday at the Super 8 Motel on Riverview Road and at the Ramada Inn on Cherry Road.
The Wednesday auto break-ins in Rock Hill occurred in the same area where four other vehicles were broken into earlier this week. All these break-ins targeted trucks and SUVs at hotels and motels near Interstate 77 within Rock Hill.
Rock Hill police said Wednesday they believe the break-ins are the work of the same person or people.
