A Fort Mill woman is accused of throwing rocks at her boyfriend’s car because she thought he was having an affair.
Linda Hood, 51, is charged with damage to property and trespassing, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
She told police her boyfriend was cheating on her with a 72-year-old woman who lives in a home on Banks Street. The 63-year-old boyfriend, however, said the woman is his relative and he mows the grass for her and helps her around the house, the report states. The boyfriend and the other woman both have the same last name.
On Sunday, police say Hood went over to the other woman’s house, pounded on the door and accused her of having a relationship with her boyfriend. She used “vulgar language” and then started throwing rocks at her boyfriend and his car, cracking the window, the report states.

Police tried to explain the situation to her, but she refused to accept her boyfriend was not in a relationship with his aunt. She reportedly admitted to throwing the rocks.
Hood was arrested and taken to the York County Detention Center without incident.
