Officers pulled over a vehicle on Jefferson Avenue about 9:15 p.m. for a broken brake light, and the driver, Durham, fled on foot, according to a police report. Durham ran into a home on the 700 block of Jefferson Avenue, where police detained him. He struggled with officers and threw his ID, a wad of cash and a small plastic bag of crack on the floor, the report states.
While arresting Durham, officers saw another plastic bag of crack in an ash tray in the corner of the room, police said. Roulhac gave consent to search the home, and officers found a small bag of marijuana and five “dosage units” of ecstasy in her bedroom, which she admitted were hers. Roulhac denied possession of the crack in the corner of the room.
During the incident, Locke continuously “yelled profanity in the street in view of the public and also was instigating a commotion with a large crowd of onlookers,” the report states.
