A woman told York Police a strange man followed, sexually harassed and fondled her while she was working at her job in a York gas station.
The incident occurred earlier this month when the man entered a gas station on Arrow Road around 10:45 p.m. The man began “making statements about (the female employee) that made her feel uncomfortable,” according to the police report.
She reports the man, approximately 45 to 50 years old, began following her around the store as she completed her shift. When she took the trash outside, the stranger reportedly followed her and repeatedly touched her buttocks despite her telling him to stop.
After she reached the dumpster, she reported the man “cornered” her and attempted to kiss her, but the woman pushed him away and went back inside. She then told the man she was going to lock up the store for the night, and he wasn’t allowed inside the store while she was locking up.

When the woman finally left the store for the night around 1 a.m., she noticed the man was still sitting in the parking lot in the bed of a green Ford Ranger truck.
The woman did not initially report the incident, but she told police in the weeks since the man has returned to the store and continues to harass her. She doesn’t know the man’s name but described him as being approximately 6 feet to 6-feet-2 inches in height and weighing between 350 to 400 pounds.
