Two people were arrested on heroin charges after police went to investigate a possible domestic situation at a Rock Hill hotel.
A maid at the Ramada Inn on Cherry Road called police Friday to report possible domestic violence. Responding officers could hear yelling coming from room 169, so they intervened.
A woman answered the door and said everything was fine. A man then came out of the bathroom and also told police things were OK, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
But police said the woman’s hands were shaking and she appeared nervous.

After the couple gave police consent to search the room, officers located three used syringes. The couple admitted the powder was heroin and the woman told police the pill was a muscle relaxer, the report states.
Palmer Wilson, 26, and Johnnie Small, 23, both of Rock Hill, were arrested and charged with possession of heroin, the report states. Wilson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
