Bag of pills found in candy section of Rock Hill Cracker Barrel

A bag of drugs was found this weekend in the candy section of the Rock Hill Cracker Barrel, according to police.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday the manager found a plastic Marlboro tobacco baggie that contained 25 Ritalin pills, according to a Rock Hill Police report. Ritalin is commonly used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy.

The manager called police to report the discovery. He said it appears they were accidentally dropped by an unknown person.

Police collected the pills and requested they be destroyed.
