Police: More than 100 beers stolen from Rock Hill store

Rock Hill police are investigating the theft of more than 100 beers from a Saluda Street convenience store early Thursday morning.

A clerk at the Sam’s Mart told police that a group of men entered the store at about 3:20 a.m. Several of them asked the clerk about ice while two men went to the back of the store. The clerk noticed that the men had started picking up beer – one had two 24-packs, the other had four 16-packs.

They left without paying and started running toward Cedar Post Lane, according to a police report.
