Police found a Rock Hill man lying on a bench with stab wounds to his chest this weekend, but the victim was too intoxicated to tell officers what happened, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
Officers received a call late Friday about a man “running up the street bleeding,” the report states. Police went to the intersection of Lucky Lane and Green Street and found the 40-year-old man on the bench.
EMS took him to Piedmont Medical Center where he was treated for multiple cuts.
The man was initially too intoxicated to talk with officers. Later, when police questioned him in the ER, the man said he was walking through a path on Powder Court when he heard someone say “Why don’t you talk that (expletive) now.” Then he was attacked.
