A North Carolina man was arrested on drug charges Friday after officers found him asleep in his vehicle with a needle in his arm, according to Rock Hill Police.
Brandon Kelly Morgan, 30, of Woodrun Drive in Mt. Gilead, N.C., was jailed on three drug possession charges.
Rock Hill Police assisted paramedics Friday evening with an unconscious man who had a needle in his arm, according to a police report. Morgan was asleep in his Toyota Camry in the parking lot of Auto Zone on East Main Street, but officers were able to wake him and get him to step out of the vehicle.
When officers opened the door, a cellophane wrapper containing two yellow pills and a white pill fell to the ground, police said. Morgan told police he purchased “half” of a heroin and that the syringe contained a portion of that.
