York County man charged with sending porn to minor, trying to set up meeting
A York County man who sent porn to a minor girl was arrested after he tried to meet her, deputies said.
Police officers were working undercover when Nicholas Addison Kishbaugh, 27, of York, tried to meet the girl after sending the pornographic pictures, York County Sheriff’s Office deputies said in arrest warrants obtained by The Herald.
When Kishbaugh went to Fort Mill to meet the girl, he was arrested by an undercover police officer, warrants state.
After an investigation by the sheriff’s office Internet crime unit, deputies found several images of child porn on Kishbaugh’s phone, the warrants state.
Kishbaugh was arrested Monday and charged with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, one count of disseminating obscenity to a minor, and 10 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to police and jail records.
Third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor is possession of child pornography photos or videos under South Carolina law. Disseminating obscenity to a person under age 18 is a felony under state law.
Kishbaugh faces as much as 110 years in prison if convicted of all charges, under South Carolina law.
The case is part of South Carolina’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that is part of the S.C. Attorney General’s Office, police and prosecutors said.
Kishbaugh is being held at the York County jail.
