Guns, money, crack cocaine, pound of marijuana seized in Chester; 2 men charged
Two Chester men face drug charges after cocaine,. marijuana, money, and guns were seized in a raid Wednesday, police said.
Jabril Lonnel Faulk, 23, and Dealquavis Markel Richardson, 19, were arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drugs with intent to distribute near a park or school, police and jail records show.
Officers seized more than a pound of marijuana, six grams of crack cocaine, two rifles, a shotgun, ammunition, and more than $4,000 in cash, said Eric Williams, Chester Police Department chief.
The arrests and seizures were made at a house on Simril Street, Williams said. The house is a block from Dawson Drive where the Chester County Sheriff’s Office is located.
The arrests and drug and weapons seizures were made after an investigation and execution of a search warrant, Williams said.
Both men face as much as 25 years in prison under South Carolina law if convicted. The crack cocaine charge carries up to 15 years for a conviction, while the marijuana and proximity to a school charges each carry up to five years.
Faulk and Richardson are jailed in the Chester County Detention Center.
